El Viento - Santorini

El Viento is located on the caldera side of Megalohori village which is one of the most traditional villages of Santorini full of neoclassical and traditional houses, picturesque churches with bell towers and a lively main square.

El Viento is the oldest century-old stone-built windmill that was recently renovated offering an unforgettable experience in Santorini. It is the ideal location to watch the magnificent sunset, the dramatic sceneries of the natural curved cliffs and the Aegean Sea.

It is located in the heart of the island where the most famous local vineyards lay.

El Viento Villa has a small living room with a kitchen, 1 bedroom, one bathroom with toilettes and an outdoor private Jacuzzi on its sun terrace with panoramic, breathtaking views to the Volcano, the dramatic cliffs and the Aegean seas. It also provides free Wi-Fi, satellite TV, air conditioning and on-site free parking space.

Cocktail Parties & Wedding Receptions

Celebrate your newly-married status after the ceremony with a cocktail or two on the stunning terrace. Your reception will take place with a ‘buffet style’ or ‘silver style service’ options available. Lit up decorations, music, etc, can be arranged to make your evening as special and individual as you are. Kindly note  that the selection of ‘an open bar option’ is mandatory and must start upon arrival. The reception finishes as soon as the agreed open bar ends. The guests are obliged to depart right after. Children under 14 years old are free of charge. 

The standard wedding package includes

* The rental of the upper terrace for the ceremony and the lower terrace for the reception:  minimum 6 hours  - extra hour up to 01:00hrs  can be arranged at a supplement. (minimum 30 guests – supplement will apply if less than 30)

* White crossback chairs for your guests.

* Basic Sound system on the upper terrace 

* Round or rectangle tables, Linen, plates, cutlery

* Guests’ / accessible facilities

* In House catering facilities

* Use of the Bridal Room for bridal preparations

To be pre-paid in the UK

* Wedding planning & administration fee (including assistance of the overseas wedding co-ordinator in resort, pre-wedding & on wedding day)

* Legalisation by FCDO of all documents you need to obtain plus translation fee

* Wedding venue hire & set up fee for wedding reception (when applicable)

* Registrar’s fee & ‘call-out’ fee for ceremony at the venue

* Wedding certificate
