To add plenty of local flavour to your special day, we can arrange for your wedding to take
place at a local museum. The venues available include Dherynia Folkloric Museum, a beautiful old house located in the village of Dherynia, close to Paralimni on the east side of the island.
This picturesque building is run by one of the locals who decided to exhibit his personal and interesting collection of traditional Cypriot items and transformed the house into a museum.
With the choice to have the service conducted in the traditional bedroom of this old house or outside next to an ancient well, your wedding ceremony and photo album will hold many unique memories.

Another very attractive wedding venue is the Cyprus Wine Museum at Erimi, near Limassol.
Located at the crossroads of the wine routes of Cyprus, this stunningly renovated building features
a splendid collection of documents, objects, photographic backdrops and audio-visual equipment that illustrate and explain how wine was produced, stored and enjoyed in ancient times; and it is in these charming surroundings that couples can exchange their vows at a civil ceremony.
Another bonus when choosing this venue is that it also places you a few minutes drive from the archaeological site of Curium - a great opportunity for a few more photographs in an amazing historical setting.

Last, but definitely not least, is the Ethnographical Museum located in the heart of the old part of Paphos town. Founded in 1958 by George Eliades in an effort to preserve Cypriot culture and art, the museum is still privately owned and run by the Eliades family in memory of this renowned archaeologist. Weddings can be organised to take place in the pretty courtyard, allowing couples the chance to enjoy a charming and private ceremony that can be followed by a cocktail party. Worth noting is that even if you have planned to marry at another venue in Cyprus, the museum could just be hired for tyour wedding photographs and/or cocktail reception.
